My opinion and conclusions
Long a subject of mockery towards the Nordics, walking poles have today become essential for camping and hiking, especially for beginners. Easy to use and practical on steep climbs and descents, they distribute the effort from our legs to our arms while stabilizing our posture when walking. This also avoids strains, tightness and aches in the muscles and prevents sprains by reducing pressure on the knees and ankles. So, whether single or double, walking poles must be of good quality to guarantee our safety while traveling.
